Eduardo Shoots - Eduardo Scores!

February 16th, 2009

Eduardo Da Silva

Eduardo Da Silva returned to Arsenal for his first competitive match since his horrific leg break injury almost a year ago.

The Croatian strikers name appeared on the scoresheet as he bagged himself 2 goals in the FA Cup clash against Cardiff City. The first goal coming from a Carlos Vela cross, and the second via a penalty, won by Eduardo himself as Arsenal eased to a comfortabe 4- 0 victory, with the other goals coming from Nicklas Bendtner & Robin Van Persie who replaced Eduardo with 25mins from the end.

The result and the return of the Croatian goal-scoring machine Eduardo Da Silva will give theĀ Arsenal team a huge psychological boost as they fight for a Champions League spot in the Premiership.

    Eduardo my Brother,
It was a wonderful moment seeing you striking once again. There is always wisdom I knew since I was a little girl. older mothes said ” if there’s a godd man, a loving Father, a thoughtful husband and a great provider, there in his heart implanted the SPIRIT of CHRIST”
Everytime i sees you having a sign of the Cross? you remind me of your humility that your talents and skills comes from ABOVE and not just you love football….GOD BLESS YOU MY BELOVED BROTHER AND I HAVE LOVED YOU FOR YOU ARE AN EPITOME OF MY DECEASED YOUNGER BROTHER Eduardo (Eddy).

Carl Dickinson put the boot into us at the weekend. Absolutely gutted. Traveled down from Ayrshire for this as one as my mate’s got corporate tickets through his work. Hate to say it but it was a cracking goal. Wee Burky had a great game. Although we travelled down and got beat we still had a ball. Traveled back to Wales in a supporters bus (sang all the way), had a party with the fans which was great and then stayed at the Village Cardiff Hotel. Hopefully be down for a home game after Christmas.
