Eduardo Back On Form against Burnley

Eduardo Da Silva

The Croatian striker Eduardo Da Silva once again proved himself on the pitch in the FA Cup clash against “cup giant killers” Burnley

Arsenal took the lead in the 25h minute after a superb solo effort by the Mexican Carlos Vela. Captain, Eduardo doubled the lead in the second half with an unorthodox, yet sweet volley off his ankle.

Arsenal had overall control of the game and could have bagged atleast 2-3 more, Eduardo missing a good oppurtunity to double his tally, and a hit and miss by Van Persie being the most notable.

Arsenal did make it 3-0 with a good build up resulting with an Emmanuel Eboue finish.

Arsenal will host Hull in the delayed Quarter Final, for a place in the last four, and a semi-final tie with Chelsea. However, before then Arsenal will be looking to progress into the next stage of the Champions League when they travel to Roma on Wednesday.
